About Tazar Studio
A Design‑Led Archive of the Digital Age
Tazar Studio preserves the devices that shaped the early digital era. We deconstruct iconic pieces of everyday technology and reframe them as objects of cultural memory—artifacts that deserve to be seen, studied, and preserved.
Revealing the Hidden Architecture of Familiar Technology
Our work begins with the devices that defined a generation: early mobile phones, first‑generation smartphones, handheld consoles, and the tools that carried us from analogue to digital. Each piece is taken apart with precision, revealing the engineering, materials, and design decisions that once felt invisible. What emerges is a new way of seeing familiar technology—stripped back, recontextualised, and elevated.
A Slow, Deliberate Craft
Every object is approached with the same principles: respect for its history, attention to detail, and a belief that design is a form of storytelling. Components are cleaned, catalogued, and arranged by hand. Layouts are built to highlight structure and symmetry. The final compositions are both technical and aesthetic—part documentation, part art.
Preserving What’s Disappearing
Tazar Studio exists to hold onto the physical traces of a rapidly vanishing era. As devices become thinner, sealed, and disposable, the inner worlds that once defined them are fading from view. Our work gives that history space, clarity, and permanence.
Objects That Shape Memory
Each framed piece is a record of where we’ve been and a reminder of how quickly technology moves. It’s an invitation to pause, look closer, and reconnect with the objects that shaped our relationship with the digital world.
